Braemar - 18 February 2016 - 14 Nights
Your holiday begins with a wonderful overnight stay in Bridgetown, Barbados, where you’ll have the chance to explore the amazing Harrison’s Cave; go in search of sea turtles in the gorgeous azure waters; and enjoy the balmy climate on over 70 miles of beach before setting sail. You will then visit six beautiful islands on six consecutive days, enjoying unforgettable experiences along the way. Discover superb views from Fort King George and admire the tumbling Argyle Waterfall in Scarborough, Tobago; immerse yourself in the sights and scents of Grenada, the ‘Spice Island’; and be blown away by the stunning scenery and black sand beaches of St. Vincent. There’s also the opportunity to delve into the dense protected rainforest of Dominica; discover the contrast between the Dutch and French sides of St. Maarten; and ride the Scenic Railway in St. Kitts.
Then, after a day at sea, you will visit glorious Grand Turk, where you can choose to spend your day soaking up the sunshine on golden beaches or snorkelling magnificent reefs in the island’s clear, warm waters, which are said to be amongst the best in the world for a number of water sports. Braemar will then glide to charming Tortola, where you can taste authentic Caribbean rum at the famous Pussers Bar in Road Town; see exotic plants at beautiful botanical gardens; or take a short boat trip to discover some of the most impressive natural rock formations on earth. As March begins, your wonderful West Indies Discovery cruise draws to a close with calls to Antigua and St. Lucia. Gaze across the stunning harbour and visit historic Nelson’s Dockyard in St. John’s, then head to the final port of call, Castries, to discover astonishing flora and fauna in breathtaking national parks.
